ABOUT US

map showing the remote location of Bwindi in East Africa

Bwindi Angels of Hope project is a local community based organization operating in the the southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable national park in Kisoro district, southwestern Uganda. The project started in 2021 with 10 children to respond to the silent voices of the most vulnerable children because of poverty, illiteracy, and death of parents due to HIV and Malaria.

In some families children have to take up the roles of parents to their younger ones. Bruno and Vincent, realized that vulnerable children around Bwindi jungle were wandering, neglected, abandoned, rejected, tortured, starving resulting in despair and hopelessness. Thus, the project was born to address the challenges of these children who live in a state of loneliness and despair.

Since then, the number of children in need has grown but our resources haven't. We created the charity project in hopes that kind hearts like yours will help support us by donating and sponsoring some of these children. Join us in bringing happiness to the lives of these beautiful souls and opening up new possibilities for a hopeful future.
